BLACK BEAN BROWNIES
Don't knock ‘em 'til you’ve tried ‘em!
I challenge you…
I want you to make these, don't tell ANYONE what is in them and see if they can guess! They’re gooey, tasty & oh so good!
RECIPE
Ingredients
1 420g tin Black Beans (drained and rinsed)*
1/2 tsp Baking Powder/GF Baking Powder
2 Tbs 100% Cocoa Powder**
1/2 c Almond Meal
1/3 c Maple Syrup
1/4 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 c Dark Choc Chips***
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175C
2. Combine all ingredients except choc chips in a processor and process until creamy
3. Mix through choc chips and pour mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 25-30 mins (25 for extra gooey and 30 for soft brownies)
*Equates to approx 1.5 cups
**Look for 'Pure' or '100% cocoa powder' some brands add sugar for extra sweetness
***Sub for vegan choc chips for vegans
